Alarm.com alerted GeoArm that it has ended support of conversational actions for Google Home and Google Assistant users back on June 13, 2023. This change ended Alarm. com’s support of voice commands for home automation actions using the Google Assistant feature and Google Home device. Simply stated, Google voice assistant devices will no longer work with Alarm.com.
Luckily, with Alarm.com there are other alternatives for voice commands beside using Google. If voice commands are an absolute must for your security system, have peace of mind knowing Alarm.com still supports Siri and Amazon Alexa custom voice shortcuts for it’s users!
